In 2021 new legislation was passed requiring all political subdivisions in WV to offer online payments by March 1st, 2023 - §12-3A-6.

The West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office now offers a new online payment solution called WV Go-Pay, in partnership with Huntington Merchant Services (powered by Fiserv). WV Go-Pay is a simple and affordable solution to meet new legislative requirements for online payments.
